Back Home

Its been a while since an update, but we have officially made it safely back to our home in Redding, CA. We arrived back to the states on August 26th. Thank you for your prayers to get us to this point. They were much needed especially due to almost missing our flight from South Africa to Atlanta. We were glad to make it home safely, and have enjoyed our time visiting family over the past week. We feel God leading us to return to Redding for a second year of school. We are excited for the decision, knowing God has more to teach us here before He tells us the next steps.

In conclusion, Mozambique was amazing and we pray the lessons we learned will never be forgotten. We know that the way we see the world and view people is not the same. We are so thankful for all of your prayers, and encouragement along our journey. When the Lord brings it to your mind, pray for Iris that God will send more laborers to mentor the children and the Bible students. Iris is an amazing ministry serving the Lord, well-worth your prayers, time, and resources.

We do hope to catch up with many of you in the near future to share more details of our experience.
